From camel humps and the Kraichgau dune country
The tours of the eighth petal lead us to the centre of the Kraichgau hill country, as it is called in our region. The tours lead along streams that run in short valleys and finally make up the Kraichgau. The Kraichgau is an extremely fertile region that was formed over thousands of years from the sand of the Rhine Graben, which was carried in by the strong west wind. From aerial photos you can easily recognize the dune like landscape.
